I can’t sleep so I’ve just set up a twitter account, linked it to my blog, so now no one can read it or see my tweets :p

I had a message today from a friend asking for a basic idea for how to do a kindle cover and I was gutted that I haven’t finished the one that I’m halfway through, therefore haven’t even started writing out the pattern, or seeing if it’s readable, or if people would even like how the case turns out!

I’ve got abit of a “thing” for using double crochets to join things together instead of sewing, I think it can look prettier and depending on how I want it to look either show off the top of the DC or have it show the underside of the stitch so that it looks like I’ve sewn it. I’ll have to take pictures to show you!

Tonights crocheting didn’t really happen. Little H is still out of sorts and then once I got him into bed I couldn’t settle mj but I did manage to sew some ends in, but remembered toretake pictures first, there’s something satisfying about seeing all of the yarn ends waiting to be sewn in, knowing you did all that. Although I normally get a feeling of dread at the same time, sewing all those ends in just doesn’t hold my attention, I feel myself itching to start on the next bit/something new!

Tomorrow I’m hoping to do a full picture update from the laptop thus avoiding awful iPad autocorrects!
